Absentee Ballot Information

How to Vote by Mail:
  1. Apply to receive a ballot by mail.  You can opt to receive a ballot by mail for just one election or for every election. Apply online or download the application to email, mail, fax, or drop off your application.

  2. Your ballot is automatically sent to you.  Ballots are mailed 45 days prior to an election or after approval of your application, if inside the 45-day window (and before the application deadline).

  3. Mark your voting choices on your ballot.

  4. Complete the Statement and have a witness sign it. 

  5. Seal your ballot in the envelope.  

  6. Return your ballot by mail or at a drop box at a voting location.

Deadline to Apply:

June 9, 5PM – 11 Days Before the June 20th Primary Election.

 

Return Your Ballot:

In person –  By 7:00 pm on Election Day to any polling place or the Office of Elections (or any early voting location during the early voting period.

By mail –  Postmarked by Election Day and received by  12:00 pm the Friday after

Ways to Return Your Ballot:

By Mail – Must be postmarked by Election Day (and received by the following Friday at noon).

At the Office of Elections Main Office – Drop your ballot in the drop box at 9250 Lee Avenue, Suite 1 (Manassas) by 7pm on Election Day.

At a Drop Box – All early voting locations and Election Day polling places have drop boxes you can use. See below for early voting locations.

Early Voting Information

Early Voting Starts on Friday, May 5th, 2023 and will run through Saturday,  June 17, 2023.
Drop Boxes are also available at all Early Voting sites.
