FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 21, 2023
Gainesville, VA – Today Republican candidate, Jeanine Lawson, announced a major endorsement for her campaign for the Republican nomination for Chair At-Large of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.
Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears released the following statement:
“I’m proud to endorse my friend and fellow conservative Jeanine Lawson as the Republican candidate for Chair At-Large of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors,” said Lt. Governor Earle-Sears. “Jeanine has been a staunch advocate for our shared principles and is the only candidate in this race who will uphold those principles every day. She has a proven record of working to lower taxes and the cost of living, supporting our first responders, and balancing responsible development in the region with conserving our treasured land. Without a doubt in my mind, Jeanine is the only true conservative on the ballot in this race and the leader Prince William County deserves and desperately needs.”

“I’m so grateful to have received the support from such a respected leader in Virginia,” stated Lawson. “From the Marine Corps to Lt. Governor, and every day in between, Winsome has lived a life dedicated to service and fighting for our shared values. As Chair, I’ll always put service above special interests and self-interests, and put the people of Prince William first again.”
Lawson is currently running for the Republican nomination and looking to flip the seat this fall, currently held by Democrat incumbent, Ann Wheeler. She has lived in Prince William County since 1995, where she and her husband Dan raised their two children. Since 2014, Jeanine has served on the Board of Supervisors representing the Brentsville District where she has been re-elected twice. During her time in office, Jeanine has fought to keep taxes low, support public safety agencies and manage growth.
